Michihamono Medium 9mm Japanese Shortbent Wood Carving Tool E-3 Spoon Bent Flat Socket Chisel, to Carve Corners in Woodworking
This medium-sized woodcarving tool includes a curved blade that can carve smooth wood surfaces and access hard-to-reach areas on the wood that a regular chisel can't.
This high-quality, Japanese made, short bent chisel is forged from white steel with a high level of hardness, easy to sharpen, and ability to take a very fine razor sharp edge quickly, making it great for wood carving. Unlike tang chisels, this socket chisel has the cone and chisel forged from a single piece of steel meaning it can take severe beating and stand up to incredible punishment over many years., This tool is sharp straight out of the packaging and keeps sharp even after multiple uses. The handle is constructed of solid oak wood with a rounded finish for comfort when using it, and it has a metal hoop connected at the end to protect it from repetitive mallet blows.
This medium-sized tool features a 9mm short bent blade with a straight cutting edge that can be used for undercutting and cleaning wood grain where straight tools cannot get in. This tool is available in different blade sizes (each sold separately).
