This excellent, mid-sized wood carving short bent gouge is made by Michihamono, a carving tool manufacturer based in Japan. Crafted by professional blade makers from Blue Paper (Aogami No.2) steel, this tool is strong to wear and tear because of the added chromium and tungsten, making it a perfect tool for wood carving. It has an ergonomically designed handle made from Japanese cypress wood, giving you great control and comfort when using this tool. Ready to use and guaranteed to be sharp right out of the box.

This short bent gouge can be used in creating concave cuts in tight areas of wood where a straight gouge is difficult to use. Also available in 15mm and 4.5mm for creating hollows of different sizes (sold separately).
