PMC3 Mitsubishi Precious Metal Clay 10g Silver Art Clay Pack (9g Silver Weight)
This pack of Precious Metal Clay 3 (PMC3) becomes silver at 900 degrees Celsius with only a 12% shrinkage rate after sintering. This silver clay is the highest grade of PMC silver clay available from Mitsubishi Materials.
This 10 grams PMC3 silver art clay packet from Japan is a must-have for those who wish to create handcrafted jewelry items such as rings, pendants and more. Recognized for its soft and fine texture, and made by Mitsubishi Materials, this silver clay is so convenient to use that you can even cut, mold and shape jewelry patterns and designs by just using simple tools at your home. Also, it can be heated up with a torch or small kiln.
This type of silver clay has a shrinkage of about 10% to 15% just like the other PMC varieties.
To begin using the silver clay, spread a thin layer of olive oil to your hands. Also, refrain from the working near the hot lamps to prevent the clay from drying out. Upon finishing your project, add a few drops of water and wrap the excess clay in plastic film, so you can still use it for the next project. For sealing joints and smoothening surfaces, water can be used, but be careful not to add so much. A hair dryer, lamp, or warming tray are used for initial drying.
This PMC product can be sintered based on the following firing conditions.
|Temperature (°F)||Temperature (°C)||Time|
Note: Always wash hands after using the product. Do not ingest, and keep out of the reach of children.
