This high carbon steel tool is made in Japan to the highest standard and will last a lifetime. Most pricking irons are available in 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6 prong versions and are spaced in 3mm, 4mm, 5mm and 6mm. Collect them all for the ultimate in stitching versatility in any thickness of leather!

Please note that you should always use a soft headed hammer (never a metal one) to gently tap it into your leatherwork, and when removing it, you should always take it straight out of your leatherwork, not side to side, as this might snap the prongs. Avoid using leather that is so thick that it is impossible to remove. A wider pricking iron is advised if you work with leather that is thick enough to make removal difficult.

Please note the size is compatible with other 3mm Seiwa / Kyoshin Elle Stitching Punches and nippers, 1.5mm Craft Sha Pricking Irons, or other nine holes per inch diamond hole pricking irons only.
