This razor-sharp takebiki nokogiri bamboo saw from Takagi is an all-purpose cutting tool that can be used on your woodworking projects and more. With a blade forged from SK5 steel, it offers edge retention due to the high presence of carbon (approximately 1%). A high rate of carbon gives SK5 an impressive wear resistance. With the high rate of hardening elements, you don’t have to worry about the toughness as this material is very tough. With SK5, the hardness can reach up to 65 HRC, which is very high compared to other steel. A durable, long-lasting walnut wood handle is used to complement the blade.

This tool is suitable for cutting various materials including bamboo, raw wood, and PVC pipe. The handle is wrapped at the end where the blade is attached to further secure the blade from the handle.
