This kit is designed for use with silver clay to support the shaping and preparation of jewellery pieces such as pendants and rings. It provides the essential tools needed to form, refine, and finish silver clay creations before and after firing.

The kit can be used in conjunction with precious metal clay (PMC) to create small jewellery items. A kiln or torch is required for sintering, which is not included in the set.

The contents include tools for shaping and detailing, such as styluses, carving gouger, abrasive polishers, lint-free cloth, silver polish, and Liver of Sulphur for patina finishing. These components are suitable for multiple jewellery-making processes.

Silver clay consists of fine silver suspended in a clay binder. When fired, the binder burns away, leaving a solid silver item in the shape it was formed. The kit provides the tools required for the preparation and finishing stages of this process.

For use, silver clay should be purchased separately. Once the clay is sculpted, it can be fired following the manufacturer’s recommended instructions. After firing, the included tools can be used to polish, texture, or apply patina to the finished piece.

Keep out of the reach of children. Store the tools in a dry location when not in use.
