Takagi Japanese Wood Cutting Tool Kataba Nokogiri Spare Blade Type 225mm Single-Edged Shark Saw, with Rattan-Wrapped Handle, for Woodworking
The blade of this single-edged saw is simple to remove and replace from the handle. This woodworking tool combines the precision and durability of a tensioned high carbon steel blade with the comfort of a rattan-covered wood handle.
This Takagi's kataba nokogiri single-edged pull saw, for wood, has teeth on only one edge and works on a pull stroke, making it simple to follow sawing guidelines. The blade may also be withdrawn from the handle to be stored in your toolbox for compactness, or when you need to change the blade. Plywood, laminated lumber, and hardwood are among the various forms of wood that may be cut. The blade is razor-sharp due to its unique blade shape.
It features a 0.4mm saw plate thickness and a 1.2mm blade pitch, allowing it to make clean, easy, and quick cuts. This blade features a clear coat finish that prevents corrosion. Made of SK-85 Steel, Japanese high-range carbon steel that undergoes quenching and tempering procedures to achieve high hardness and wear resistance. For a more secure grip, the hardwood handle is wrapped with rattan.
