With this high-quality leather stitch punch from Oka, you can punch fine diamond-shaped stitch holes in your leather. Professional-looking holes are ideal for hand stitching leather and are achieved when using this high quality tool along with other Oka diamond hole punches. This leather stitch punch has been tempered for greater strength, and each prong has been carefully honed, giving you a tool that will last many years. While working on your leather project, the knurled handle of this tool improves your grip and control.

Use this 4-prong punch to produce multiple evenly sized and spaced stitching holes in your leather at once without the need for an awl. Suitable for both beginners and expert leatherworkers and a great addition to your leathercraft tools collection.

Size (space between tips of prongs):

  • 4mm

Available prong numbers (each sold separately):

  • 1-prongs
  • 2-prongs
  • 3-prongs
  • 4-prongs
  • 6-prongs
  • 8-prongs

Please note that you should always gently tap this tool into your leatherwork with a soft-head hammer, and that you should always remove it straight out of your leatherwork rather than twisting or rocking it side to side to loosen it, as this may cause the prongs to snap. It's best to avoid using leather that's too thick for this tool. If you're working with leather that's thick enough to make removal tough, you'll need a larger pricking iron. The prongs of this tool are tempered, which makes them incredibly robust yet brittle, so they will break off rather than bend if they are overstressed. This is by design, as cheaper pricking irons' prongs bend readily, which risks ruining your leatherwork by causing permanent uneven stitch holes, if the bent prongs are not noticed.

Keep out of the reach of children.
