With this reverse diamond hole punch by Oka of Japan, punch professional-grade stitching holes in a perfect diamond form that is great for sewing leather. This tool is long-lasting and sharpened by skilled craftsmen, and it is made of tempered steel with a high level of hardness and wear resistance. This tool's knurled handle gives a greater grip and comfort while in use, preventing the tool from slipping. Punch stitch holes using this tool and the standard diamond hole punch (sold separately) to create beautiful stitch patterns in your leather.
When punching leather in a long straight line, use this 6-prong stitch punch to create six perfectly spaced diamond-shaped holes at once. Stitching holes created with this leathercraft stitch punch are neat and consistent, easy to sew, and practical, making them perfect for both novice and experienced leather craftsmen. As a reverse pricking iron, the holes made by this tool will appear in the opposite direction when compared to those made by a regular pricking iron.

Please keep in mind that the professional nature of this product needs extra attention. Always use a soft-headed hammer and gently tap it into your leatherwork; when removing, always take it straight out of your leatherwork; never rock it side to side to release it as this might break the prongs. Avoid using leather that is so thick that it is hard to extract, a larger pricking iron is recommended when working with leather thick enough that this tool may be difficult to remove. Keep this tool away from other tools or solid objects. Never drop or strike this tool on a hard surface.
Please note that the prongs on this tool are highly tempered, which makes them extremely strong but also slightly brittle, so that overstressed prongs will break off rather than bend. This is by design, as bent prongs of poorer quality pricking irons deform more quickly, potentially damaging your leatherwork by generating permanent uneven stitch holes if the bent prongs go unchecked.
