This exceptional tool features a superbly fine, 1.5mm shallow U gouge blade, made from High Speed Steel, which has a gentler radius than a round knife, allowing you to carve delicate grooves and smooth out imperfections left by larger gouges. The smooth 180mm Sakura wood handle provides a comfortable and secure grip for detailed carving tasks.

The ultra-fine blade of this tool excels at carving fine lines, details, and lettering on wood with exceptional control. The shallow U gouge profile is perfect for adding detail on the broad cuts left by other carving tools, for carving intricate details, fine lines, and lettering, as well as removing minor imperfections and blemishes on your woodwork. The gentler radius of the blade, when compared to a other U Gouge tools, allows for more smoother carving and reduces the risk of creating grooves that are too sharp.
