An outstanding, small sized woodworking short bent gouge, made from the same material used in making Japanese swords, the Blue Paper (Aogami No.2) steel that has a high chromium and tungsten content, making sure the blade of this tool will not chip off and wear out easily. Holding the blade securely is the wooden handle, made from Japanese cypress that has a smooth finish, making it easy to hold and can be comfortably used for a long time without the hands getting tired easily. This tool is guaranteed to be sharp and ready to use right out of the package.
This tool has a bent blade that is great for finishing and smoothing inaccessible spots on a carving without fouling the edges of the wood. Buy this tool along with the 15mm and 7.5mm sizes (sold separately) to carve wood in different radiuses.
