Oka Round Blade Awl No. 3 Leathercraft Sewing Tool Leather Stitching Awl 2mm Scratch Awl, with Wooden Handle, to Pierce Holes & Mark Leather
This Japanese made tool is a great addition to your leathercraft tool collection for punching corner holes in your stitching or as a scratch awl.
This high-quality leather stitching awl from Oka is ideal for punching clean, professional-looking round holes in your leathercraft projects. This tool has a wooden handle that is designed to fit comfortably in the hand and is slightly flattened to prevent it from sliding off when placed on a flat surface, a ferrule that keeps the handle from splitting while holding the shank in place, and a sharp blade for marking and punching holes in leather.
This sharp round awl is used to punch corner holes or mark leather for sewing, cutting, and producing patterns. This tool can also be used to enlarge existing holes to fit a needle while sewing without the risk of ripping or cutting your thread or hole, as a diamond-shaped awl would.
Available Sizes (each sold separately):
