This Kyoshin Elle's one-prong, 2.5mm diamond point pricking iron, made in Japan, is perfect for creating short, straight stitch lines in your leathercraft projects. This tool is highly tempered, ensuring the prongs are exceptionally tough and durable, making it ideal for leatherworking. Use this pricking iron to punch stitch holes in your work for consistent, evenly spaced, and symmetrically slanted stitches. The tool features an anti-slip handle that offers a secure grip and comfortable use, especially helpful for those who spend a lot of time creating stitch holes. Crafted from high-quality materials, this leathercraft tool meets the highest standards of Japanese manufacturing.
This leather stitch punch has been tempered and quenched, resulting in excellent hardness and sharpness and is ideally suited for punching straight lines on smaller leather items or stitch lines. Unlike other pricking irons, this stitch punch is designed to pierce leather, eliminating the need for an awl and drastically shortening the time it takes to produce stitch holes.

Please note that this tool's prongs are highly tempered, which makes them strong but slightly brittle, thus overstressed prongs break off rather than bend. This is by design, allowing the prongs to snap off rather than bend, as bent prongs could potentially damage your leatherwork by generating permanent uneven stitch holes if the bent prongs go unnoticed.
Please keep in mind that the professional nature of this product necessitates extra attention. Always use a soft-headed hammer (never a metal hammer) and gently tap it into your leatherwork. When removing, always take this tool straight out of your leatherwork, never move it side to side to release it as this might break the prongs. Please keep this tool away from other tools and other objects, and do not drop or strike it on a hard surface.
