One of Seiwa's line of Fabrier acrylic dye products for leathercraft and fabric, the Fabrier Pearl, is available in 3 different colors, Pearl blue, Pearl green, and Pearl pink (each sold separately). This product provides a calm color effect and is not overly shiny. When applied, it makes the surface accentuate with the color of the Fabrier you used, and the darker the color of the material, the better the effect it will give. It can be used in leather and most fabrics such as cotton, rayon, linen, silk, polyester, and denim as it is flexible and can be stretched or folded without getting damaged easily.

This product can be applied in leather and fabrics in multiple ways such as using a brush for freehand designs or using stencils for more detailed works. The standard drying time for a thin coat of this dye is for about 20-30 minutes and it will take one day to dry completely. When used on a cloth, wait until it is dry enough to be touched by your fingers and iron at a temperature suitable for the cloth to finish the dyeing process.

Fabrier products can be used in the same way that ordinary paint is used. Fabrier can be applied to fabric and leather goods using a variety of tools, including stencils, stamps, sponges, and brushes. Dip the brush (or any other item you'll be using) in the paint and then apply it to the fabric or leather. If you're having trouble spreading the paint, dilute it out with Fabrier diluent to make it easier to apply.

To use in finishing leather edges, first use a burnishing gum and leather burnisher to polish the edge before adding Fabrier. Then smooth it out with 400 grit sandpaper. Reapply burnishing gum and rub it in with a leather burnisher a second time. Smooth the surface of the leather edge with sandpaper, but this time use an 800 grit. Prepare Fabrier, a paintbrush, and a small basin to dilute the paint Fabrier Diluent to make it easier to apply. Allow each coat of paint to dry for 20 to 30 minutes before applying it to the leather's edges two to three times. After it has dried, sand it smooth with 2000 grit sandpaper and paint it again to complete the process.
