This A2-sized leather sheet is cut from full-grain, dark brown cowhide that has been professionally vegetable tanned, oiled, and skived to a consistent working thickness of approximately 1.2mm (±0.07mm). Measuring 420mm x 594mm (16.5 x 23.4 inches), it offers four times the surface area of an A4 sheet, making it ideal for structured leathercraft projects such as biker wallets, clutch bags, organisers, tote bags, or satchels.
This leather is made in Japan using humanely sourced cowhide and traditional vegetable tanning methods under strict environmental controls. It has been professionally oiled to enrich colour, increase durability, and enhance the leather’s feel and appearance. Because of this oil treatment, the leather is not suitable for dyeing, stamping, or lacquering. However, both the edges and the flesh side can be cleanly burnished for a refined finish.
