This high quality A2 sheet of 2.5mm thick black saddle leather from Craft Sha is a superior choice for larger leatherworking projects requiring structure and durability. Professionally vegetable-tanned and skived from full-grain cowhide, it is machine-cut to 420mm x 594mm (16.5 x 23.4 inches) with precise right angles for ease of layout and pattern cutting.

The leather’s saddle black surface is dense and smooth, suitable for precise tooling, forming, and carving. Its firm body provides excellent resistance for embossing and shaping, making it ideal for rigid items like sheaths, folios, belts, or stitched panels. The flesh side and edges can be burnished cleanly, and the uniform thickness ensures reliable handling across the entire sheet.

Made in Japan using traceable, humanely sourced cowhide, this leather meets the highest environmental and tanning standards. Each sheet is prepared with professional accuracy, minimising waste and maximising consistency.

Our Return Policy:

Most items can be refunded provided you send your order back to us within 30 days of purchase and if the items returned to us are in an unopened, unused and original condition. Simply email us to confirm your item can be returned. If we approve your return, please return the item(s), with your invoice to our address in Japan, and write on your invoice that you'd like a refund, and the reason why. Once we recieve your approved return in an unused, unopened and original condition we will refund you the cost of the item as soon as possible.

We stand behind every product we sell, therefore, should you feel an item has been misrepresented, or is not in the condition as promised, please let us know and we will promptly replace the product, or return it to us for a full refund.

Please note, for all returns, the cost of return shipping is the buyer's responsibility.

Duties and Taxes:

Please note import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the price of our items. These additional costs vary depending on the destination country of the order and are the buyer's responsibility.
