Kyoshin Elle Leathercraft Stitching Chisel 6x4mm European Leather Pricking Iron
Use this European style pricking iron to punch flat, diagonal stitch holes in your leathercraft items for a distinctive, new design.
With this European-style pricking iron by Kyoshin Elle of Japan, you can create six evenly spaced stitching holes in your leather. This European leather stitch punch is forged from high-quality steel and manufactured in Japan to the same high standards as other Kyoshin Elle pricking irons. This tool has a non-slip grip that prevents it from slipping out of your hands when you're using it. The size number is etched on the end of the handle to make choosing the proper tool for your leatherwork easier. 3mm, 4mm, 4.5mm, and 5mm diameters are available, with 1 prong, 2 prong, 4 prong, and 6 prong varieties (each sold separately).
This high-quality tool is used to punch holes in a precise flat, slanted form that is optimal for stitching leather. This six-prong leather stitch punch makes it simple and quick to punch multiple sewing holes at once on a straight line such as on the edges of your leather, saving you time and effort.
Available prong numbers and sizes (each sold separately):
- Single Prong
- 2-Prong (3mm, 4mm, 4.5mm, 5mm)
- 4-Prong (3mm, 4mm, 4.5mm, 5mm)
- 6-Prong (3mm, 4mm, 4.5mm, 5mm)
Please note that the prongs are designed to snap rather than bend in order to provide maximum toughness and avoid undiscovered bent prongs from damaging your leatherwork. Always use a soft-headed hammer or mallet (never a metal one) to softly tap this tool into your leather work. When removing the prongs from your leatherwork, always take it straight out of the leather; if you shift it side to side to loosen it, the prongs may break. It's a good idea to grease your prongs with wax every now and again to make removal easier.
