This high-quality alcohol-based leather carving dye is ideal for your next leathercrafting project; use it to bring your carvings to life. There are 80g of gel dye in each tub. Available in blue, maroon, tan, black, brown, red and dark brown colors.
You're looking at a brand new 80-gram jar of leather carving dye, in red color, from Seiwa. This leather dye is great for highlighting crevasses, stampings, and carving on your leather creations. This leather dye is alcohol-based, meaning they have the benefit of deeper penetration and faster drying times. Use this dye to bring your leather carvings to life. This tooling dye is easy to apply and can be spread evenly on the surface of your leather.
Simply rub this thick paste into carved or tooled leather with a toothbrush or with gloved hands, before quickly wiping off the excess carving dye using a dry cloth. If required, a damp cloth can be used to remove stubborn stains. Repeat as desired. Once the finish you want is achieved, leave to dry before buffing with a lint-free cloth and applying your favorite lacquer.
