The Special Pro Stitching Groover & Creaser from Oka creates grooves and creases at the edge of your leather. It can be used to make perfectly straight stitching guides at the edge of leather products like bags, wallets, belts, and more. But what makes this Pro Stitching Grover stand out from the rest is the smooth quality of its genuine ebony wood handle, a machined brass ferrule that secures the shank in place, as well as the inclusion of all three stitch line implements, including a scratch awl tip, creaser blade, and groover blade. All these quality features gives you the ultimate, Japanese made, leathercraft tool.

The blade and the handle are on the same axis which gives the user more control and pressure on the blade. It comes with different types of blades suitable for creasing or grooving leather. The length can also be adjusted depending on how far you want the stitching guide from the edge of the leather. Perfect addition to your leathercraft tools.

Product Data:

  • Handle (Ebony)
  • Ferrule (Machined brass, with fastening screw)
  • Allen Key
  • Spoon-Shaped Blade
  • Scratch tip
  • Creasing Blade
  • Grooving Blade

To use this Stitching Groover & Creaser, first, choose the proper blade for your application. Then using the Allen Key, loosen the screw at the edge of the tool to insert the blade you are going to use before tightening the screw in place. Hold the handle firmly then place the metal stitching guide (adjusted for depth) outside the leather edge and the blade on the surface of the leather edge you're going to mark. Angle the tool at a 30 to 45 degree, then run the tool along with the leather, smoothly while applying constant pressure, taking care not to slip from your chosen track. Add more pressure to make more deep grooves and creases. You can also adjust the metal guide depending on whether you are left or right handed. Just flip the metal guide then insert it back into the tool. This Pro Stitching Groover can also be used as a freehand creaser, groover, or scratch awl.

Please note: The blades are small and sharp, keep away from reach of children.
