You're looking at a 80ml (2.4 oz.) bottle of leather edge finish with applicator, that will protect the edges of your leather and give it a professional shine.

Ensure your edges are dressed professionally with this Basco leathercraft edge dye, formulated with flexible latex, this leather edge dressing comes with a built-in applicator and comes in many standard and exotic colours, including white, black, yellow, beige, dark brown, red, brown, navy blue, green and blue.

You'll only need one or two applications, so 70ml will last a long time. Excellent for the edges of wallets, bags or other leather items. Great for your leathercraft project or renewing your favourite factory leather goods too.

Simply remove the outer cap and inner cap (behind the applicator), then reattach and saturate the applicator in edge dye. Ensure your leather is clean and free of treatments or contaminants and run the saturated applicator over the edge of your leatherwork until the desired amount has been applied and leave to dry.

Shake well before use. Wash applicator after use.

If your leather has been factory treated and is not untreated vegetable tanned leather, ensure all factory treatment has been removed with fine grit sandpaper. Available in many colours.

Please note all our edge dyes and enamels are designed for vegetable tanned leather, basically if you leather can absorb the dye or enamel then it should work, but if your leather is sealed and does not absorb the dye or enamel then it may peel off over time. It may be possible to roughen the edge of your leather with an Emory board or sandpaper, exposing the grain or absorbent surface, then applying the edge dye. However, as we cannot guarantee this will method work in all cases, please take precautions to ensure your leatherwork will not be damaged and always test this method on a disposable first item to see if it will yield the results desired, before progressing onto your actual project.
