Dear U.S. Customers,
We are very pleased to share some good news with you.
Further to our recent update regarding the additional FedEx “Duty Handling Fee” on U.S.-bound shipments, we are very happy to let you know that we have now reached an agreement with FedEx, and they will no longer be charging us this fee.
As a result, we will be removing the additional charges that were introduced because of this FedEx fee.
We know the Trump Tariffs have already placed a very unfair burden on our U.S. customers, and we are truly sorry for the extra costs this situation has caused. For that reason, we are especially pleased to be able to lessen that burden, at least in part, by removing this additional FedEx-related charge.
Please kindly note that the Trump Tariffs themselves still remain in effect. However, the additional FedEx duty handling fee that was the reason for the previous rate increase will no longer apply.
We are very grateful to FedEx for working with us to resolve this issue, and above all, we are deeply grateful to our U.S. customers for your patience, kindness, and continued support while we worked to bring these costs back down.
Thank you very much again for your understanding. Please know we will continue doing everything we possibly can to keep shipping prices as low as possible and to reduce the impact these tariffs have had on our customers.
Cheers,
The Goods Japan Team
