This Craft Sha's stainless steel Cobbler's hammer is ideal for striking and setting rivets. An easy-to-use hammer that was developed by a professional with ease of grip and weight balance in mind. The shape of the handle is its finest characteristic. The ergonomic beech wood handle fits pleasantly in the palm, and when held, there is a space between the hand and the workbench, so the hand does not get in the way and the striking surface can be precisely applied to the leather. The rounded ball-shaped striking surface has a softly bulging form and is shaped smooth so as not to harm the leather.

This Cobbler's ball-peen hammer is used to smooth or pound out seams. The head of this tool is made up of a ball-shaped, rounded end and a flat, hammering end. The roundness of the peen allows the hammer to apply surface pressure to leather surfaces and in ways that a flat end would not always be able to. If you do a lot of saddle work or stitching with heavier leathers, this is a great leather hammer to have.
