This woodcarving tool is primarily used as a finishing tool for woodcarving, that provides a wonderfully smooth surface. This tool is also great for producing extra fine details on your wood carving projects. The short-skew chisel allows this tool to clean narrow corners and edges of wood carvings, that are inaccessible by square-edged chisels. The fine width of the blade is perfect for carving out letters on the wood and for trimming rounded surfaces of the wood.
